Finding Your Soul's Purpose

There are times in our lives when we feel lost and disconnected. We go through our everyday routines from working, to taking care of our families, to trying to fulfill all our obligations that sometimes we tend to forget about ourselves. This is the reason why a lot of people end up feeling depressed or feeling like there is no reason to wake up the following day with excitement and vigor. If you are feeling this way you need to find your soul's purpose. Knowing that your soul has a purpose for being in this world is the best way to live life. However, you may be asking yourself this question now "What is a soul's purpose?" Each one of us is sent to this earth for a very specific reason. Each one was created to offer something beautiful to this world and that is your soul's purpose. It could be anything from writing a book or creating your masterpiece on a canvass to teaching young people, or hairdressing or flying airplanes. It doesn't matter what it is, the most important thing to know is that you feel deep down in your soul that this is the work that you were called for in this world. How exactly do you find your soul's purpose? There are different ways for you to access that space deep in your heart and soul so that you can find your true purpose here on earth. First, you have to listen to your heart. When you embark on something, you will know that your heart is saying no if you feel sick, tired, drained and anxious. You will know that your heart is saying yes if you feel motivated, excited and inspired. There is a magnetic pull towards that certain activity and when you're doing it, you feel a sense of natural high. Second, you need to meditate. Take some time out of your busy schedule to sit in silence, breathe in the moment and bring stillness to your overactive mind. This is the only way for you to truly hear your inner voice. Third, you need to believe in yourself. If there is something that you love and you enjoy doing, resist the self-doubt and do not listen to the inner voices saying you are not qualified enough. You are the only person in this world who knows exactly what it is that you love to do and you are passionate about doing. Go ahead and pursue your passion and share that blessing to the world. That is your true soul's purpose. Your passion will evolve as you grow and become a blessing to others.
